Invincible

I picked up a TB of Invincible the other day. Man, what a great book. It is slow becoming one of my favorites. It has a great story, great art, and is just plain fun. I am lovin' it so much, I got motived and drew this.

Asajj Ventress

I did this picture for my friend Chris. He is a gifted colorist. He goes by Fatboy73. Look: [link]

Anyway, he wrote me the other day and asked if I could draw him up a Asajj Ventress. I was more than happy to do it. First, he is a great guy, and second, he has been doing an awesome job on my art. It was the first time I had even heard of the character, much less drawn her, so I hope I did her some justice. I hope to have a link to the colored version soon.

G.U.N.S. (preview)

Finally! I get to post some storyboard work. Lately, I have been busy working on a project for VineYard Press called G.U.N.S. by Bruce Brown. It is a great story with even better characters. I did an 8 page story arc for the book. It was tons of fun. This is page 4. The character is Rio, and she is not happy. If you want to see more, the book should be out soon.

I am including the inks just because I love them. They were done by the insanely talented Keith Barnett (aka K.A.Bodle). Dang he is good!

It's my Birthday. I am with the family visiting my uncle in North Carolina. It is so beautiful here. I had a little free time in between activities, so I thought I would get some more practice in with Photoshop. I did this one up, and my uncle liked enough that he wanted it for his desktop. It was a lot of fun.

CAP n THOR

Captain America and Thor. These two have got to be my favorite Avengers of all time. I haven't drawn either one in a while, but I was reading Capt. America, and I got an itch. It seems to me as cool as "Bucky" is, he is not the Captain. I had to bring Steve back if only in this drawing.

Something Quick

Something quick ...get it? Flash . Someth...hee ...hmm..umm yeah, OK.

I took a small break from my project and turned on the Olympics. Those athletes are amazing. I do not know why, but the Flash popped into my head. I guess seeing the sprinters did it, I don't know. Anyway, I decided to draw him...really quick. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself. )

Betty Boop

This is kind of sappy, but I drew this for my mom. She is a huge Betty Boop fan. She has everything Boop. I am talking cups, pajamas, plates, purses, etc. I thought I would surprise her with a Betty pic., so I drew one. I have been so busy that I haven't gotten to color it yet, but I thought I would throw the lines up anyway. Maybe after my current project I will get an opening to finish.
